The intensity of thrusting here could also be reduced for the lower amplitude, which means, the current minimal thrusting intensity is too high… As an anecdote, my wife didn’t want to use it anally, so I used it vaginally instead while using my own penis anally:-) It was great for both, and only later my wife learned that this is what happened:-).
