There is an auto suction function and a manual. The manual allows suction up until there is no more air to pull. I was surprised that it ACTUALLY did as it said it could and did not give false features as so many other products do! The auto has a few suction patterns that would bring bloodflow to the region thus increasing the odds for an "O". Please bare in mind this reduces battery life.
